Hace más de un año me realicé una técnica estética que me recomendaron para evitar la cirugía de nariz o rinoplastia. Después de leer mucho acerca de la rinomodelación, decidí probarlo y tener mi propia experiencia.Es realizada bajo sustancias absorbibles por el cuerpo humano y por este motivo, se trata de una modificación saludable, eficiente pero temporal. Mi médico estético me habló de que la duración varía de acuerdo a la sustancia utilizada y la tipología de la persona, me dijo que los resultados podrían conservarse de 20 a 25 meses. Desde mi adolescencia me ha parecido que mi contorno nasal no se corresponde al resto de mi cara, además de tener una grave desviación de tabique nasal que me provoca mayores irregularidades. Con esta técnica estética conseguí que mejoraran al menos 3 grandes problemas que solía tener con mi nariz: 1. Modificó el aspecto de la punta de mi nariz, la hizo más fina y delicada. 2. Corrigió los desniveles e irregularidades ocasionados por la desviación de mi tabique nasal. 3. Mejoró en gran medida el aspecto de mi giba nasal. Antes de realizarme este procedimiento, mi médico me aclaró que era una técnica con fines estéticos únicamente y que no modificaría mis demás problemas respiratorios, por tanto, me refirió directamente al otorrinolaringólogo. Durante este procedimiento estético pueden utilizar diversas sustancias, en mi caso mi médico optó por utilizar el ácido hialurónico, ya que era el que tenía mejor biocompatibilidad y sería capaz de solventar mis problemas estéticos nasales. Una vez que comenzó el procedimiento, mi médico me colocó un poco de anestesia tópica para disminuir las molestias de la inyección de la sustancia. Los resultados estéticos de la rinomodelación son inmediatos y en mi caso, fue un procedimiento realizado de forma ambulatoria y en un período no mayor a los 20 minutos. Quizás uno de los factores que llamó mi atención sobre este procedimiento es que no requiere de hospitalización, entablillado de nariz u otros post-operatorios que suelen ser una molestia. La recuperación de esta técnica estética es sencilla, basta con no tocar la zona tratada en un lapso de 48 horas y no utilizar lentes. Así mismo, mi médico me prohibió otros tratamientos faciales, hacer ejercicios, ir a la sauna o practicar deportes extremos durante 7 días después del procedimiento. Lo único que noté una vez que salí de la clínica fue una pequeña ruboración en la zona tratada, no obstante, mi médico me aclaró que era algo natural del procedimiento. Me siento conforme con este procedimiento estético, para mí ha sido una solución rápida (aunque temporal) para mis problemas físicos nasales.
